Habit # 1, M I REALLY A PROACTIVE person

Earlier I mentioned that beginning with the end in mind gave me a different view of life but, when I carefully observed my behavior I found some underlying thing has been disrupting my 2nd habit. I thought for long but ended nowhere. Slowly I started understanding the reason for the fluctuation in my habit. It was when I heard comments like ‘you are lazy....’, ‘why don’t you do things on your own…’ and ‘use your brain’ etc. I realized that I was responsible for the disruptions and it was all because, sometimes, I didn’t initiate even the trivial works on my own. I showed non proactive attitude. I am trying to be proactive in every matter but its very hard and I hope I can make it.

HABIT 2, (BEGINING WITH THE END IN MIND) Did it Work???????

The book 7 Habits of highly effective people was firstly refered to me by my friend. While i was reading it for the first time, it made me concious of the very small things that really matter for our end result.
Now, as i did a presentation on it agian, it made me practically impement the 2nd habit i.e. Begining with the end in mind. for e.g. for the first time i only thought of my result in the end of my semester but, doing a presentation on it in the class once agian expanded my thinking horizon and i started taking steps keeping in view how they are going to help me in my practical life. In short, i started imagining my desired way of life and now i take steps in accordance to what i have to actualise.

Geting started with Marketing Course

The marketing course of my fall-08 semseter seems to be very intresting yet it can give me very tough time. According to our instructor Mr. Manaan Amin, we need to get fully prepared for our practical life awaiting us in the near future. Untill now he has been stressing on getting ourselves align with the needs and criteria of the current time. for e.g. he made us create blogs and visit sites that may turn out to be usefull for us. He also recomended the book, 7 Habbits of Highily Effective People and to make sure we implement it idulged us in various class activities. This is a begining and I hope we can make maximum use of our learnings. (This time i have started with the end in mind)
